<p>A clamp for the lance of a loom drawing weft from outside comprises two details movable relatively one to the other and forming between them a clamping surface for the weft thread. The clamp incorporates a locking device which keeps it closed. The fixed detail has a hook guiding the yarn into the clamp which is held closed by a latch pivoting on the one detail and pressing when locked against the other. The clamp is locked in the holding position so that a chock, esp. when entering of leaving the boc, cannot release the thread.</p> |
