The machine comprises a flat bench on which two compressed air drill units (8) are free to slide and execute an automatic work cycle, with a vice(7) to hold the work piece being placed between them, the vice having two movable jaws and adjustable longitudinal positioning on the bench. To protect the operator during the work cycle two hoods, which are opened and closed pneumatically, over the drill units. Each drill unit is provided with a liquid coolant sprinkler(20) which can be moved longitudinally, the supply being controlled by a tap(20'). The working of the machine is governed from a control panel located on one side of the bench.
