A spotlight assembly for use in apparatus for producing a concentrated illumination in a selected region of a working plane especially as in the parent Specification consists of a spotlight pivoted about an axis 16 in a frame 20 pivoted about an axis 14 at right angles thereto, the spotlight and frame carrying control levers 38, 24 each engaged by a pivot arm 40, 26 driven by a reversing synchronous motor 42, 28, the movements of the levers being limited by stops 48, 34. The motor 42 is carried on the frame 20. Since, in use, a plurality of spotlight assemblies are arranged at varying distances, the angle of tilt of each is varied by movement of the point at which the arms 40, 26 engage the levers 38, 24. Slipping clutches are provided in the drive of the arms 40, 26 to facilitate synchronization of the spotlights. |
