<p>The safety belt is formed by a single strip of material with a first abdominal length running from a first point near the seat front on the door side to a second point on the opposite side. A thoracic length runs diagonally from the second point to a third point high on the column between the doors, and a dorsal length runs from there back to the second point. The thoracic and dorsal lengths pass together through an adjustable shoulder buckle, and the thoracic and the abdominal lengths are joined at the bottom by a sheath-type buckle which can be locked to the dorsal length in a stirrup with flexible blade mounted on the second point.</p> |
