<p>An electrical coil has a winding on a former and integral terminals. Its construction decreases the risk of open circuit due to rupture of the wire at the terminals. The coil has a winding (2) fitted onto a flanged former (1a, 1b, 3). The flanges (1a, 1b) of the former have pins (5b) and a tube (7) inserted into their side. A terminal (4) is secured onto the pins (5b) and the tube (7). One end of the winding is connected to the tube (7) by a solder bead (11). The terminal (4) has a square base with holes and a tubular structure. The holes in the base fit onto the pins (5b) and the tube (7) of the flanges (1a, 1b).</p> |
