Picker cap holder mounting - has a flexible sleeve to secure the holder to the picker stick

The design gives a lightweight assembly which can be mounted in the correct position and which is cheap to mfr. Adjustment is easy and the unit has a long life. Pref. the material for the sleeve is polyurethane elastomer, for the sleeve to be produced by injection moulding. The sleeve has one aperture to accommodate the picker stick and a second opening to take the mounting stud of the picker cap holder, the material of the sleeve having a hardness of 90-98 Shore A to withstand operating stresses. The cap holder stud is secured in place by a snap coupling.
