<p>The system is for the handling of prefabricated concrete components, using a bolt embedded in the component, with whose head a spherical coupling piece engages. This has a slot extending through 180 deg., widened at one point to allow the bolt head to pass through. The lifting eye on the coupling piece is situated, in the engaged position, eccentrically on it and above the insertion opening. The eye on the coupling piece forms a counterweight opposing the frictional forces acting on it so that when the hoist rope is slack the piece falls over into the equilibrium position. The piece has, near the insertion opening for the bolt head, a locking bolt sliding in a drilling, but unable to turn.</p> |
