The measuring unit is for power and efficiency of energy conversion units. It offers continuous measurement and control of such untis when subject to varying influences. The electrical signal equivalents of energy input and output are electrophysically divided and the quotient displayed. The equivalent signals may be used to influence the repetition duration and the sample duration of a sampled direct volage whose arithmetic mean value is proportional to the quotient of the two durations. the two durations are determined by the value of a multivibrator capacitor charged with current proportional to the measured parameter.
