摘要 <p>The mechanical oscillating structure (2) either contains the entire sample of the measured substance, or the substance flows through it under the action of a pump (6). The measurement is performed by measuring the frequency of a synchronous electric signal collected from the structure. This signal is corrected by a second signal which is collected from a second oscillating structure (7) in which a reference substance is contained, or which flows through it. The two oscillating structures (2, 7) are connected to excitation and amplification systems (8, 7). The measurement structure (2) and amplifier (8) are connected directly to a frequency meter (10). The comparison structure and amplifier (11) are connected to the frequency meter via a switch (13). The measurement and reference fluids may pass through a heat exchanger (4).</p>
