The closure for photographic camera case consists of rigid plastic, flexible in thin layers. The hook of a plastic flap fitted to one section of the case may be brought into contact and out of contact with a recess on the other case section. Projecting inclined surfaces (9) are fitted to one section of the case (1) on either side of the flap (4) and project against the other case section (3) so that with the case closed on the side on which the hook fits (5) they fit on the opposite side of the other case section (3). A thinning of the material is made in the area of the recess (6) of the one case section (3) and on the interior surface (10) of the inclined surfaces (9).
