Shield for domestic grass mower - has grid of parallel bars hinged at front and fixed by lever fastener at rear

The shield for the grass mower protects the limbs of the operator and prevents foreign bodies e.g. electric cables branches or stones from getting in. The entire underneath side of the grass mower is covered with bars spaced out at a distance of approximately 10mm in the direction of travel. The underneath side of the bars have notches which catch the grass and convey them into openings in the grid. The grid is held in place at the front by hinges and at the back by a simple lever fastener to enable the mower to be quickly cleaned after mowing.
