<p>The healing pack with peloid filling has a heat accumulator (1) comprising a watertight and washable sack sealed on all sides and filled with natural peat or similar material. Between this and the body of the patient is a thin disposable contact packing (2), likewise filled with peloid material. The casing (3, 4) of this packing comprises, at least on the body side, a plastic fibre cloth (3), permeable to the materials used for treatment. The design reduces to a min. the quantity to be discarded after treatment. Also there is less risk of burning the patient's skin when applying the pack after heating, or of dirtying the bandages etc. used to hold it in position.</p> |
