PURPOSE:To improve hardness of an end fringe or a side fringe of a cleaning blade, by a method wherein a temperature of a part of a mold corresponding to the end fringe or the side fringe of a longitudinal direction of the cleaning blade which is in press-contact with the surface of a photosensitive body is made lower by 20-40 deg.C than the crosslinking temperature. CONSTITUTION:A mold is formed of the central part 3 and an end part 4 by interposing a heat insulation material 2 between them, the end part 4 is arranged at intervals from a hot platen 5, the central part 3 is heated at the fixed reaction temperature and the end part 4 is made into a lower temperature than the reaction temperature by 20-40 deg.C. A liquid urethan polymer 6 is cast into the mold along with a curing agent and catalyst for crosslinking and curing. With this construction, hardness of a side fringe of a longitudinal direction of a cleaning blade which is in press-contact with a photosensitive body is improved over that of the other part. |
