<p>1458157 Concrete pile; boring earth &c L A TURZILLO 24 June 1975 [16 Sept 1974] 26758/75 Addition to 1438241 Headings E1F and E1H A concrete pile in an earth situs is formed by screwing a continuous flight hollow-shaft auger in the earth situs. A portion of the auger is left protruding above the earth situs, the lower flighting of the auger being freed of augered earth and then surrounded by cementitious material M. A portion of the hollow shaft 17 of the auger is also filled with cementitious material extending above the earth situs to provide a columnar body or pile with the auger embedded in it.</p> |
