Plastics mouldings from foamed recycled polyolefin blends - which are textured and coloured for an acceptable finish

Bodies or handles for maintenance tools, brooms, brushes comprising mouldings made from recycled polyolefins with a grained foamed structure. The raw material is cheap enough to compete with medium to low grade timber. The structure and colours used disguise the low grade surface finish typical of recycled or mixed materials. Foamed polyolefin based mouldings are tough enough and elastic enough to accept screwed fittings.
