The multipurpose sanitary appliance comprises a water closet with attachments, is equipped to function as a bidet, and includes secondary fittings for washing hair and cleaning teeth. The hair and teeth cleaning equipment is mounted above and to the rear of the pan. The pan is provided with foot pedal controlled water, cleaning liquid and hot air drying nozzles. The bidet attachment has a water tank with thermostatically controlled heating, a hot air generator, a sanitary liquid distributor and are mounted in the vicinity of the we pan. The tank is provided with a pressuried outlet nozzle which directs the water from between the rim of the pan and the seat. The tank also feeds a tooth brush and/or a hair massage brush. An overhead waste water collector which drains to the pan may be included.
