Electrically heated mattress and coverlet - used to induce sweating in medical and beauty treatments

Mattress comprises bottom layer of polyurethane foam on which is a cloth (e.g. of jute), and a (pref. silicated and aluminised) asbestos cloth, to which the heating element is adhered. This is covered with a glass fibre cloth, and finally, a layer of non-woven material (pref. synthetic). Coverlet comprises (neares the mattress), an (e.g., nylon) quilted cloth, to which the electric wires are adhered and a layer of non-woven material (pref. of synthetic fibres).
