<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and to reduce an irregularity in characteristics of a piezoelectric composite vibrator by providing a piezoelectric twist vibrator at the center of the outer periphery of piezoelectric ceramics, and providing two piezoelectric longitudinal vibrators to be connected to both ends of the twist vibrator. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric composite vibrator 1 is composed of a piezoelectric twist vibrator 1a provided at the center of pipelike piezoelectric ceramics 10, and first, second piezoelectric vibrators 1b, 1c to be connected to both ends of the vibrator 1a. In the vibrator 1a, a plurality of first oblique electrodes 11 and a plurality of second oblique electrodes 12 are alternately formed on the outer periphery of the ceramics 10, and respectively connected to first, second common electrodes 11', 12' parallel to the circumference. First, second peripheral electrodes 13, 14 and third, fourth peripheral electrodes 15, 16 are respectively formed at the vibrators 1b, 1c. According to the arrangement, the vibrators 1a-1c are obtained by electrode printing on the outer periphery by using the ceramics 10 which can be manufactured by press molding technique. Therefore, its manufacture is facilitated, and the vibrator 1 having small irregularity in characteristics is obtained.</p> |
