PURPOSE:To code the picture signal efficiently by coding the difference between the first code which is obtained by coding picture signal in the first colding circuit in use of one dimensional correlation and the delay circuit output which is obtained by delaying the first code for one picture element in the direction rightangled to one dimensional correlation in delay circuit, in variable length in the second coding ciruit. |
