<p>The game is played on a board (1) resembling a football pitch and having a squared surface (3). Each player has eleven counters (4, 5) representing his team, these being positioned as for a full size game. A goal (8) is marked each end, also penalty areas (7) and several coloured squares (9) in the central area. Players take turns to move their counters, the number of squares being limited to a total of five. This is made up in any way, the ball (6) counting as one no matter how many squares it is moved in a straight line. Moving on the coloured squares also counts as one.</p> |
