Automatic containers alignment system - rotates containers using friction surface and traced markings on their circumference

Containers have a marking on their circumference and are rolled along a stationary friction surface and part of their marking is traced. The rotation of the containers is interrupted after expiration of a certain deceleration time and when their marking arrives at the tracing position. The deceleration time is varied in accordance with the rotating speed of the containers and its lower for a higher rotating speed than for a lower rotating speed. The rotating speed of each container is separately measured and a corresponding deceleration time is separately determined for each container. The deceleration time consists of a constant part during which the rotation of the container is interrupted and a variable part corresponding to the rotation speed of the container.
