<p>The fertiliser spreader has a drive shaft which is driven by the land wheels (3). At least one of the wheels is attached to a drive shaft and both are connected by a freewheel mechanism operating in the same rotational direction. Each freewheel mechanism consists of plunger cam which moves in a radial direction and passes radially through the drive shaft. A hole in the hub (5) of the wheel has a surface in which are alternating spiral protuberances (8) with adjacent radial steps (9). The radial length of the plunger cam is greater than the dia. of the drive shaft (5) and less than the max. radial width between one step (9), and the opposite protuberance (8).</p> |
