<p>The anchoring is for a machine foot or support in a concrete foundation slab. It consists of an anchoring section, with a projecting iron rod, accommodated in a box, which is cast into the concrete, and open at the top. The machine foot is fastened to the iron rod. The anchoring section has two vertical iron rods positioned at a distance to each other, and connected at the lower ends by a transverse section, which engages on the support in the box. A horizontal iron bar is provided to align and fix the anchoring section before the box is filled with casting material. The iron bar positioned in the box top projects over the box sides, and has apertures. The iron rods of the anchoring section pass through the apertures and are tensioned by nuts.</p> |
