Elastic hoses are stretched in tension over the spray orifices in distributor pipes used to inject a medium under press. into a liq. to be treated, e.g. in the neutralisation of waste water. The press. of the liq. tends to seal the spray holes by acting on the hoses, which are conversely lifted off the holes by the press. of the sprayed medium to create a flow passage. Blockage of the spray holes by solid, fibrous, greasy or other materials in the treated liq. is prevented.
