<p>The circuit contains a phototransistor which registers the light reflected from the photographic subject; this has an integration capacitor in its collector circuit and triggers the quench device from its collector or emitter. The modification consists in inserting in the collector circuit a correcting element which contains an ohmic resistor and whose effect is relatively the more marked, the shorter the intended period of illumination. The correcting element may be an ohmic resistor (possibly shunted by a capacitor) in series with the integration capacitor. This method is preferable for a parallel-computer-flashtube. An ohmic resistor may be connected across the integration capacitor.</p> |
