<p>A dosing unit to feed liq. detergent into a domestic clothes or dish washing machine has a supply chamber fitted to the machine door, pivoting on a horizontal axis. When the machine door is closed, the liq. is supplied as required for the washing action. A pipe fitting, which rotates in a seal, forms part of the adjustment unit for the dosing chamber, the pipe lying on a horizontal axis when the door is closed. The pipe has a closed end within the dosing chamber with an inlet in its wall. Outside the dosing chamber there is an outlet giving the connection to the supply vessel. The adjustment unit occupies little space within the dosing chamber so that the available vol. of liq. detergent is not reduced by components which would displace the fluid.</p> |
