Disintegrating and sintering thin thermoplastic waste - by using frictional heat from rotating cutters plus hot air current

Thin thermoplastic waste, esp. films and fibres is disintegrated, softened and sintered, heating it by friction produced by at least one rapidly rotating element in a chamber. Gas (pref. (air) is blown into the chamber, pref at its base, to dry and/or heat the material before softening and is exhausted after contact with the material. High energy efficiency and consequently short cycle time are obtd. with effective mixing.
