<p>The sweet-wrapping mechanism comprises two endless belts (14, 15) opposite and in contact with each other. These pull the wrappings in and grip them at one or both ends on the runs between the belt pulley shafts (16-19). The sweets can be delivered onto the wrappings as these are held fast by a variable-spped auger (2). The wrappings with sweets on them are gripped by the belts and rotated. To give this rotary movement one belt (20) can be arranged to run faster than the other (21). The wrappings can be rotated in the same direction as the belts run, and the speeds of the various pulleys can be separately adjustable.</p> |
