PURPOSE:To open an aperture and pinch a connection section in the temperature range not causing the deterioration of the superelasticity effect above the shape recovery starting temperature by fitting aperture opening members with a U-shaped cross section respectively on both sides of the slit section of a clip with a nearly horseshoe-shaped cross section made of a superelastic alloy. CONSTITUTION:Aperture opening members 4 and 4' with a U-shaped cross section respectively are fitted on both sides 3 and 3' of the slit 2 of a clip 1 with a nearly horseshoe-shaped cross section made of a superelastic alloy. To fit aperture opening members 4 and 4', the aperture of a fastener is opened at a low temperature, and aperture opening members 4 and 4' are pressed into both sides 3 and 3' of the slit section 2. To pinch a connection section, an aperture opening jig 5 is used at the ordinary temperature, its tips 6 and 6' are inserted between aperture opening members 4 and 4' and both sides 3 and 3' of the slit section 2 to open the aperture, it is stuck and pinched to the connection section, then the aperture opening jig 5 is removed. The aperture- opening and connection can be easily performed in the temperature range not causing the deterioration of the superelasticity effect above the shape recovery starting temperature. |
