The handle 4 is secured to a cross-shaft 5 to which are also secured an arm 6 pivotally mounting the front braking member and arms 11 mounting wheels or rollers 12 so that on rearward movement of the handle 4 the ground or slideway is engaged by the braking members and on forward movement by the wheels or rollers.
