PURPOSE:To facilitate a converting job and to prevent the omission of informa tion by converting the description of the value written in accordance with an IS08824 into a VTL (value tree list) form after retrieving a coincident identifier of an AST (ASN.1 syntax tree). CONSTITUTION:An ASN.1 encoding VTL generation device produces a VTL necessary for assembly of a PDU (protocol data unit) whose encoding method is prescribed by an IS08825 written in accordance with an IS08824. Then an encoding data input means 1 is added to the VTL generation device to input the data to be encoded together with a VTL identifier retrieving means 2 which retrieves an identifier coincident with the encoding data, an encoding VTL generation means 3 which generates a VTL to be assembled based on a VTL identifier and the encoding data, and an encoding VTL assembly means 4 which assembles the PDU based on the VTL. Then the value described based on the IS08824 is converted into a VTL form with retrieval of a coincident identifier of an AST. Thus it is possible to decrease the mistakes including the omission of information, etc. |
