Device for producing composite food prods., e.g. from finely-divided meat, comprises a hop er and die through which the meat is pressed. Directly below the hoppe is a chamber in which the die can be placed while food is fed into the openings. The opposite side of this chamber is limited by a plate with openings which connect it with the atmosphere. The diameter of these openings is arranged so that no food under press. can pass through them. The device allows the prodn. of cylindrical meat pieces from finely-divided starting material in a non-labour-intensive and hygienic manner. |
