1485612 Chain couplings TOWMOTOR CORP 4 Feb 1976 [7 May 1975] 04361/76 Heading F2Q An adjustable anchor for a lift chain in a fork lift mast unit comprises a housing 90 having a bore 92 with a part-spherical taper 94 formed at one end, and an adjusting sleeve 96 having a threaded bore 102 adapted to receive a threaded shank 106 of a chain connector 104, the sleeve 96 having an outer diameter substantially smaller than the bore 102 to permit angular movement of the sleeve relative to the bore 102, and the sleeve 96 having a partspherical annular shoulder adapted to engage the part-spherical taper of the housing 90. An exposed portion 108 of the sleeve 96 is knurled to facilitate its rotation within the bore 92. A lock nut 110 is adapted to engage the end of the sleeve 96. |
