<p>A stamp is for applying numbers, symbols, or letters to components or parts in the manufacturing industry. It has a number of stamping wheels (4) designed as toothed wheels with stamping profiles (6) on the surfaces of the teeth. Each toothed wheel is directly driven through a driving wheel (2). The driving wheels are coupled to indicators (9) preferably designed as read-off wheels whose symbols are viewed through windows (10). Thus it is possible to move both the indicator wheel and stamping wheel (4) by rotating the driving wheel (2) between. The wheel shaft (3) should be operated from outside by means of a handle and lies parallel to the shaft (5) carrying the stamping wheels, with the stamping wheel shaft parallel to the wheel shaft (7) on which is mounted the indicator wheel (9), this in turn meshing with a gear (11) on the driving wheel shaft (3).</p> |
