<p>Machine for the electrochemical machining of workpieces, using a frame with pillars; a pump, tank and pipes for the electrolyte liq. fed to a gap between a machining electrode and the workpiece; a workpiece clamp; and an adjusting device moving the electrode w.r.t. the workpiece. The novelty is that the machine frame is used as the tank and is fitted with the pump, and the pillars form a space for the workpiece and the electrode, with a drain leading to the tank. The pillars are pref. fitted with side walls, three of the latter being aligned with three of the side walls of the tank, which is made of corrosion-resistant material, esp. plastic reinforced with glass fibre. The tank lid is pref. used to locate the pump. Simple design, providing easy assembly of the machine.</p> |
