The precision machining of lens glasses where a frame (20, 50) is formed, can be releasably inserted into an optical machining tool (40, 60). The frame encloses a first inner section (23, 53), on which the lens blank (10) can be applied, and a second inner section (22, 52) which can be adjusted in its position with respect to the first section. The first inner section (23, 53) of the frame can be moved with respect to the second section (22, 52) in a plane. The second section (22, 52) can be moved with respect to the frame in one plane. The inner section (23, 53) which grips the lens blank can turn and this same inner section can be moved with respect to a given reference point. The inner frame section also has an elbow joint (57d, k, r) to fix the blank (10).
