The stopper has an inner seal (2) which sits onto the end of the bottle neck. The inner seal has a flat horizontal portion (21) and an outer ring (26) sloping downwards, together with an inner ring (25) sloping upwards and attached to the flexible cylinder (24). When the seal is pressed down by y the outer stopper the seals are formed. The outer stopper (1) has a rigid flat top (12) which butts against the inner seal. The outer skirt of the stopper (11) has a flexible seal (114) and supports the internal screw thread, which matches the thread (a) on the bottle neck (A).
