The machine handles long thin strips of stainless steel or non-ferrous metals with highly polished surfaces. the strips are supplied by a suction conveyor which allows them to fall on to transverse belts. The belt runs around pulleys mounted on a hinged frame. The frame can be tilted by the jack so that the belt in the region immediately below the suction conveyor is higher than the other belt. The strip falls onto the first belt and is delivered to the stacking platform support. If a jack is actuated, the first belt is raised and the strips are delivered to the opposite platform support.
