The paint roller is esp for use on large vertical surfaces, and consists of a paint container (1), which is connected via a proportioner (2), to a paint application roller (3). The proportioner consists of slots in the container base, which are controlled by a slide at the rear of the appliance. There is an upper roller (4) to distribute the applied paint evenly. The appliance has a handle (5), which is turnable in its retainer (6). Handles of varying length may be used, or may be telescopic.
