Chromatographic plate with optically clear linear adsorption zones - sepd. by optically opaque divisions

A chromatographic analysis plate has linear strip-like adsorption zones which are sepd. from one another by longitudinal divisions. The latter are of optically opaque material whilst the adsorption zones are made in optically clear glass or plastic. Systems allows accurate measurements which are not affected by light diffusion to or from adjacent absorption zones.
