The second filament may be extruded through an orifice composed of three radially intersecting slots having straight sides which diverge with respect to one another from the centre of the orifice at an angle of 0 degrees (parallel) to 15 degrees. Suitable polymers are polyamides, polyesters and polyalkylenes.
