Brake shoes (38) engage on the brake discs (22, 22'), which brake shoes (38) can be actuated via brake calliper levers (24, 26, 28, 30) on the one hand by a compression medium motor (32) and on the other hand manually by means of a handwheel (1) with a spindle (2), via a connecting rod (6) which is provided with a spring-energy store (8) and via a hand brake linkage (18). An intermediate lever (42) which is mounted on a support point (44) fixed to the underframe has on the one hand a first coupling point (41), which is pivotable to a limited degree by a fixed counterbearing (43) in the lifting-off direction, for the free end of the brake calliper lever (24). The intermediate lever (42) also has a second coupling point (47) for the hand brake linkage (18). For parking braking, the spring-energy store (8) is pretensioned to a specific value below the maximum force which can be exerted by the hand brake linkage. As a result, it is ensured above all that release processes of one of the two brake actuation means remain without effects on the released or unreleased state of the other brake actuation means. <IMAGE>
