<p>Paper clip is made from a piece of wire bent several times within the same plane with an inner bend section forming a first opening which is enclosed by an outer bend section so that two parallel sides of the outer bend section adjoin two parallel sides of the inner bend section. The outer bend section projects on one side beyond the first bend section to form a second opening and the two parallel sides (8a, 8b) of the outer bend section (3) are at a distance from each other at least within the width of the second opening (5). The latter is equal to, or slightly larger than the diameter of a crown cork. The height of the second opening (5) is about equal to half a diameter of a crown cork and the wire section (1) is made of steel wire of a diameter of 1.5 to 6 mm.</p> |
