The automatic-dialling telephone terminal has a digital display (7) built into it or fixed removably to it. In the former case the display is electrically and mechanically integrated into the terminal. The display indicates the telephone number of the subscriber making the call at the called subscriber's terminal or it indicates the number being called or it indicates the duration of the conversation. The digital display is automatically connected to the dialling device when the handset is lifted or when a code number is selected.
