Lance 15 penetrates the insulatiun of a wire forced transversely into the mouth and upon crimping of the arms insulation is extruded into rebates 17 and fills the mouth (Fig. 2, not shown). More than one lance and/or serrations on the arms may be provided. Apparatus for inserting and crimping in of a ribbon cable is described (Fig. 3, not shown).</p> |
