Fastener for cables on sheet metal panels - has inward lugs for snap connection with stud on panel

The fastener for cables on sheet metal panels comprises a stud secured to the panel and having near its free end a peripheral groove with which a clip (1) supporting the cables is engageable. The cablers are situated one at each side of the stud in grooves of the clip facing an anti-drumming layer on the panel. The clip comprises an opening passing over the stud and having inward lugs (10) for snapping into the groove of the stud. To assist the snapping action the part of the clip including the lugs is a free-standing (7) tubular portion set back into the outline of the clip.
