The fixing device is for mounting a conduit in a U-section support tube which is mounted on or in a wall. It has two L-shaped members between which the conduit may be held, a locking element beig slidably longitudinally between the L-shaped members to engage or disengage retaining elements on the conduit. The locking element pref has a U-shape, having several cut-outs engaged by projections on the conduit. The projections have bent over ends which engage in the cut-outs with a locking action. The projections may be fixed to the conduit by clips.
