A guide comb is claimed for passing warp yarns from their supply bobbins to a warping beam in a warping machine, where the needles of the comb can be adjusted by a mounting linkage. The comb needles are aligned parallel to the movement path of the comb mounting. The comb needles are secured by a pivot mounting to the comb support, either directly or by a needle holder. The design gives access to the guide path for the warp yarns to the warping beam so that the operatives can monitor the state of the yarns as they move through, and also allowing the introduction of compressed air to clear the comb of any fluff or other debris.
|
