The rail anchor and attachment assembly is for securing the end of a sinuous spring band to a curved frame rail in a furniture frame. The anchor is a pin fabricated from heavy gauge wire. It comprises a vertical anchor leg seated against the back surface of a frame rail and depending from a horizontal attachment leg. An attachment hook on the free end of the attachment leg receives a spring band, a helical connector spring or some other form of band connector, to form an attachment assembly joining the band to the rail.
