<p>A safety helmet is especially for drivers. It has a helmet shell which has a front and chin part. There is a visor opening and a movable visor fixed to the helmet shell. This visor is of transparent material for closing or opening the visor opening. A spherical visor is movably arranged on the outside of the helmet shell. Further, the visor can pivoted at a constant spacing to the front part of the helmet shell. In the closed position, the visor (2) can be fixed to the helmet shell (1) by means of a catch device (6, 9, 10). This catch device has an externally operated knob (6). The visor (2) opens automatically by means of a spring (16) at the hinge point.</p> |
